The working committee of THUPELO invites applications for participation in a regional workshop to be hosted by GUS (Gallery of the University of Stellenbosch). Participants are required to commit to regular attendance, including weekends. The workshop exhibition will be from 15th – 19th of February 2018 in the Gallery – this will run concurrently with the Cape Town Art Fair.
Thupelo workshops are led by artists and were initiated in response to a need for interaction between creatives. This workshop will include up to 15 artists from the region. Artists with experience in their various practices, who are self-motivated, willing to experiment, exchange skills, and ideas are welcome to apply. Thupelo will provide basic materials, lunch and refreshments plus transport for each day if needed.

Time: 9am – 4.30pm (Daily)
Venue: Gallery of the University of Stellenbosch
